    Hello,

Thanks for your interest in Marshall Headphones‍, my name is Brad‍ and I am happy to help with your inquiry.

My apologies, we have been seeing issue with Deezer as there is Chromecast mismatch that may require a hardware update as opposed to a firmware or software update.

I am afraid the issue with the casting to Deezer has been an ongoing issue and we encourage customers to use Spotify or Stream Deezer via Bluetooth.

Please note that this issue seems to limited to the Acton II Voice with Google and the Stanmore II Voice with Google which have been retired for sometime now.

The Google / Sonos dispute is related to the limited functionality of the speaker and was an issue experienced industry-wide.

Please let me know if I can assist you further.

    Best regards,

    Brad

Thank you for contacting us and for your interest in Marshall Headphones. My name is Connor and I am happy to help you with your inquiry.

I'm sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with your Voice with Google Assistant speaker. In the chance that it helps, find the link to your Voice speaker manual here, Voice Speaker User Manuals

Let's begin by resetting your speaker to its original state; please perform a factory reset, noting that this will delete all prior user settings.

*If this is not the first time setting up your speaker, we also recommend deleting the Google home App, and rebooting your device prior to completing the steps below.

Factory Reset: Push and hold both the Source button and the Play/pause button for 7-10 seconds. The source LEDs will all start flashing

Set up Pre-conditions: (Please note; the Marshall Voice App is only used on the Voice speakers with Amazon Alexa and is not compatible with the Google Assistant voice speakers)

    • make sure you have downloaded the Google Home App
    • make sure you have Bluetooth and WiFi enabled on your device
    • make sure your device is connected to your preferred WiFi network

Follow these steps to set up your speaker:

    1. Please ensure the Wifi source is selected on the speaker.
    2. Open the Google Home App
    3. Select set up a new device. Set location and address of your location (Home address), this enables you to ask questions related to local news and weather.
    4. The app will then search for the speaker, "Acton II" or "Stanmore II" will be found - Click 'Next'
    5. Speaker will then play a sound, the Google Home app will ask you if you hear a sound. (If you did not hear a sound, please retry reset and steps 1 through 4)
    6. Follow in-app directions
    7. Google Home App will ask to choose the wifi network to connect to. Please choose the network your device (Phone) is currently connected too (Home wifi network)
    8. Follow in-app directions
    9. The speaker is now set up, though the Google Home App may continue to share some useful tips and suggestions.
